A garden is part of your home and should reflect your lifestyle

An initial informal chat will give the opportunity to assess the garden’s potential and discuss ideas, thoughts and wishes for the garden. After this a design brief is prepared around which the overall concept and style of the garden can be based. Once the go ahead is given, a detailed site analysis is carried out where the garden is measured and photographed in readiness for the development of a new design.

Outline plans for the proposed design are then prepared, along with the expected budgetary costs to build it. Often, a perspective sketch or mood board are also prepared at this stage giving an impression of how the garden will look. Once the design is approved by the client, master & planting plans are produced indicating hard landscaping materials, setting out information and planting detail from which the landscape contractors can prepare a full quotation for the works.

Planting plans include the plant names, quantities and placement, with maintenance notes to help with aftercare and an accompanying mood board to illustrate key plants. Plans and drawings are hand-drawn and colour rendered, whilst mood boards include a variety of colour images in order to help visualise the proposed design.
